Born in Seville, I lived in London for more than 10 years where I studied a diploma in photography. I am also a mother of two children. Since 2011 I have been a qualified teacher of English and Spanish.

I have several years of experience in professional English teaching from preschool to adults. I like to base the learning and strengthening of the language through playful-creative activities such as storytelling, painting, clay, crafts, creating a family environment.

Teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) is thrilling, challenging, and rewarding. I love teaching English because it provides unique perks, including building bonds with my students and opening the doors to life-changing experiences of teaching English in another country.

I am a Vietnamese born British that teaches English in Spain! I have been a highly motivated English teacher for over ten years and the passion grows every year. My students have ranged from 3 year olds through to 70 year olds wanting to learn the language. I always believe that by building a trustful and humorous relationship with my students would ensure they reach their capability while enjoying the learning progress. Following my father’s footstep, as a teacher, I have learned that my caring character and enthusiasm are well suited for this career path.

Hi! My name is Carla, and I’m a Primary School Teacher specialised in English Language. Ever since I was a child, I have felt a deep fascination for the English language and its culture, and becoming a teacher has allowed me to share that passion with my students.

I have experience teaching children from Primary to Secondary education, both in private tuition and in language academies. Over the years, I have worked with students of different ages and learning styles, and I truly enjoy adapting my lessons to make English accessible, meaningful, and enjoyable for everyone.

Alongside my degree, I have completed a wide range of complementary training, including international congresses on educational innovation, English immersion programmes, and Erasmus+ projects.

For me, teaching is creating connections, awakening interests, and helping children build confidence in themselves and in their abilities.

Hey, I'm Lorcan

Hi, I’m Lorcan, an English teacher in Sevilla. Originally from Ireland, I began teaching English in Latin America over 10 years ago, and later worked building training departments in the corporate sector. I now return back to the English teaching world, combining all those previous experiences to support learners in developing strong, confident communication.

Why I became a teacher:

Learning a second language opened doors for me — it’s the reason I’ve been able to travel, build a life in a new country, and feel at home far from where I started. Teaching English lets me share that same possibility with others. I’m passionate about learning, it’s one of my own favourite ways to pass time, and so I aim to create clear, supportive lessons that help learners gain real confidence, whether they’re studying for exams, improving for work, or simply wanting to move more freely in the world.
